Damp conditions were forecast to persist along large portions of the state's eastern regions this week as a low-pressure trough continued to attract humidity against the coastal areas.

Tomorrow was expected to become the most rainy day, with persistent storm activity predicted across various areas of both states.

Safety Concern

Public health experts alerted that there was an increased chance of epidemic thunderstorm asthma across the countryside regions, particularly given the existing atmospheric conditions.

This warning comes after historical occurrences where similar conditions led to substantial respiratory problems in the state.
